Ski patrol software, from the first call to the closing sweep.

Patient care reports written at the bedside, dispatch that buzzes every phone on duty, opening checks, the closing sweep and the daily log, for paid and volunteer patrols at independent ski areas.

The report shouldn't start after the hill closes.

When care is written on a glove, then a clipboard, then a Word form at 9 pm, details get lost and reports go missing when a lawyer asks two seasons later. DAY/OS records it once, at the bedside, and builds the report from that.

  • Incident reports in a binder
  • Vitals on a glove
  • Group texts to find who's on duty
  • Sweep sheets on a clipboard
  • Volunteer days in a spreadsheet
  • Oxygen checks on a wall chart

What your patrol gets.

Every part works on a phone, with big buttons for gloved hands.

Patient care reports

Enter it once at the bedside; the report writes itself.

Nothing is deleted. A mistake is marked entered in error and stays on the record, struck through.
  • Vitals with age-based flags, trends and a "check again" timer
  • GCS, primary survey, head, spine and stroke checks
  • Splints with circulation checks before and after, tourniquet and pelvic binder times, oxygen and a cardiac arrest log
  • A full incident report form, with the mandatory fields your director chooses
  • A CHART or SOAP narrative drafted from the bedside entries, for the patroller to correct
  • Refusal of care and the hand-off to EMS signed on the phone, and a one-page hand-off sheet that prints
  • Collision reports, witness statements and take-home sheets

Dispatch and phone alerts

Send the call, and the right phones know where to go.

  • Calls with location, responders and a timeline
  • Phone alerts to responders, with "On my way" to answer
  • Critical calls alert everyone on duty, and can text them too
  • Lost-person searches with areas assigned and alerted
  • A guest help page from a QR code on a trail sign, which always says to call 911 in an emergency

Opening checks and the closing sweep

Every run checked in the morning, every route swept at night.

The mountain can't be called clear while a route is open or someone found has no call.
  • Opening checks: hazards marked, ropes and signs, padding; open, hold or close with a reason
  • Mountain status changes as patrol goes
  • Sweep routes assigned to whoever is on duty, stop by stop
  • An alert when a route runs late, and the time the mountain was called clear
  • A daily log built from the day, with addenda that never overwrite it

Duty, roster and volunteers

Know who's on the hill, and who's kept current.

  • Sign in on duty with station and radio, on a phone or by tapping your name on the patrol-room tablet
  • Paid patrollers can clock in for pay at the same time
  • A patrol schedule published to each patroller, and shift cover requests someone free can take
  • Volunteer days counted against your season minimum, with reminders
  • Access levels your director sets: who opens, approves and releases cases
  • Lift evacuation plans and drills, and who on duty is ready for each lift

Medications, oxygen and AEDs

Only what your medical director allows.

  • A formulary per mountain: each drug's authority, routes, largest dose and who may give it
  • Stock received by lot and expiry, and taken from stock when given
  • Oxygen cylinder pressure and AED pad and battery checks, with low cylinders flagged

Records that hold up

When a lawyer, insurer or state asks, the answer is one click away.

  • Every submit and approval keeps a frozen copy of the whole report
  • A review group signs off reports; nobody reviews their own
  • Records requests logged and released only from the approved report, with a release number
  • A legal hold that stops any change to the case
  • Incident reports export as a spreadsheet
  • Opt in to compare injury rates with other mountains, by counts only

Built for where patrol works.

No signal on the hill

Bedside entries and new cases are kept on the phone and sent in order when the signal returns. The last few cases opened stay on the phone for the patroller who opened them.

Gloves on

Big buttons, steppers that start from the last reading, and one-tap stages that stamp the timeline.

The patrol room

A shared tablet where patrollers tap their name to sign in and out, and a wall screen for the day.

Any phone

Nothing to install. Add it to the home screen for call alerts, on iPhone and Android.

Patrol on any plan.Add Patrol to the Lodge or Mountain plan, or take Resort, where it's included. Every plan starts with 14 days free, no card. See pricing.

Questions patrol directors ask.

Does it work for a volunteer patrol?

Yes. Volunteers sign in on duty without a time clock, their days count toward your season minimum, and they can ask for cover when they can't make a shift. Paid patrollers can clock in for pay when they sign in.

What if there's no cell signal where we treat patients?

Entries are kept on the phone and sent in order when the signal returns, so nothing typed at the bedside is lost.

Can a report be changed after it's submitted?

Every submit and approval keeps a frozen copy. Corrections are marked entered in error, never deleted, and a legal hold stops any change to the case.

Who can see patient details?

Only the patrol access levels your director allows. Counter, instructor and other staff logins never see patrol cases.

Does it replace our radios or 911?

No. DAY/OS records and coordinates the call; radios and 911 stay your lifeline. Phone alerts depend on phones and networks.

Do we have to use the rest of DAY/OS?

No. The Patrol only plan is everything patrol needs and nothing else, so you can start with patrol alone, which touches no guest, and add lift checks or the front desk later on the same account.

Can our patrol sign up on its own, without the ski area?

Yes. Many patrols have their own budget, so the patrol can be the customer, on a monthly or yearly price. The ski area gets a free read-only login that shows the day's patrol in numbers and every approved report, never a case in progress. See the Patrol only plan on Pricing.

Can we try it before committing?

Yes. Start a demo mountain in about 20 seconds, or ask for a 14-day trial on your own mountain with no card.

See a case go from call to hand-off.

In 20 minutes we'll show a call, the bedside, the report and the sweep, on a phone, with your patrol director in the room.
