Software for the ski areas the big systems forgot.
Verdynt/OS is operations software built for independent ski areas: family-owned hills, community and municipal areas, and nonprofit mountains.
Why it exists
The large resort groups buy enterprise systems with teams to run them. Most independent ski areas can't, so they run on a patchwork: an old ticketing system, a card terminal that doesn't talk to it, patrol reports on paper, lift checks on a clipboard and a schedule in a spreadsheet. Every piece works on its own. Together they cost a small crew hours every week and leave records that are hard to find when they matter most.
Verdynt/OS puts those pieces in one place, priced for a small hill, and lets each mountain turn on only the parts it runs.
What we believe
- Safety records come first. Patient care reports are never deleted, a lift that fails its inspection cannot be opened, and a park feature that fails is closed everywhere.
- Your money is yours. Guest card payments go straight into each mountain's own Stripe account. We never hold it.
- Your data is yours. Every mountain can export its records at any time, and leaving never means losing them.
- A seasonal crew should learn it in a morning. It runs in a web browser on the computers, tablets and phones a mountain already has.
- Saturday morning matters most. We release changes on Sunday nights, never on a weekend morning, and urgent problems at the ticket window or the gate are answered first.
How we work with mountains
- Try it first. A demo mountain opens in about 20 seconds, and a 14-day trial on your own mountain needs no card.
- No long contracts. Monthly or yearly, and every mountain can leave with its data.
- Built with the people who use it. Our founding mountains help decide what we build next, and we ship improvements every week.
