Zipline, mountain coaster and tubing software: open on the check, sold by the time slot.

Every attraction beside the slopes, run like a lift. A daily opening check on a phone keeps a failed attraction closed, time slots sell at the counter and online with height, weight and age limits, and each ticket is scanned at the attraction's own gate. Works all year, on the same login as the rest of the mountain.

The coaster sells on one system, opens on a clipboard, and the patrol report names neither.

When tickets, inspections and incidents live in three places, nobody can say on a given day whether the ride was checked, how many rode it, or what happened at 2:10. Verdynt/OS keeps the check, the sale, the scan and the report on one record.

  • A separate booking site for the zipline
  • Inspection sheets on a clipboard
  • Counting riders on a tally sheet
  • Checking heights by eye at the gate

Open it safely, sell it, keep the record.

Attractions are part of Lifts and trails, which every plan includes. Selling time slots is part of Sell and the Online shop.

Open it safely

A daily opening check for each attraction, from a phone.

A failed check keeps the attraction closed until a passing check is on file.
  • Ziplines, mountain coasters, tubing hills, ice skating, scenic rides and bike parks, each with its own status on Mountain status
  • Each type starts with a default check, which you change to match your manufacturer's manual and your state inspector
  • Holds and closures carry a reason, and every check keeps who did it and when
Everything it does
  • Height, weight and age limits and whether a waiver is needed, set once per attraction
  • Mountain status shows attractions beside the lifts and trails, for the crew and the wall screen
  • A check that fails while the attraction is open closes it and starts a downtime entry; the failed check stays on the record
  • The public conditions feed lists each attraction as open, on hold or closed

Sell it

Time slots with places left, at the counter and online.

Ski area POS
  • Guests pick the day first, then a time with places left, and see the limits before they pay
  • Height, weight and age limits are confirmed for every rider, and waivers are checked, before the sale goes through
  • Each ticket is scanned at the attraction's own gate, once, in its time window
Everything it does
  • Day passes as well as time slots, and rider types with their own prices
  • Two counters cannot sell the last place twice
  • A refund frees the place for someone else
  • Online baskets hold their places while the guest pays

Keep the record

The check, the sale, the scan and the report, on one case.

Ski patrol software
  • Patrol reports name the attraction as the place, and statistics count cases there
  • Patrol checklists for a zipline or a coaster suggest themselves on cases there, and every tick keeps its words
  • Scan history shows when each ticket was used, and at which gate
Everything it does
  • A report keeps the attraction's name as it was when the report was approved, and so does the claim file
  • Attractions, time slots, staff and patrol reports work all year

On the morning board with the lifts.

Attractions get their own group on the board every role sees in the morning. A coaster that passed its check shows open; a tubing hill waiting on the groomer shows on hold, with the reason.

Questions mountain managers ask.

Can guests book a time slot online?

Yes: day first, then a time with places left, and the limits shown before paying.

How does the daily inspection work?

Each type starts with a default check written in the spirit of the manufacturer's daily inspection and ASTM practice. You change it to match your manufacturer's manual and state inspector, which always come first.

Does it work in summer?

Yes. Attractions, time slots, staff and patrol reports work all year.

In 20 minutes we'll fail an opening check, sell a time slot at the counter and online, and scan the ticket at the gate.
